Webmaster extraordinaire Laurie Dender was the guest speaker at this week's meeting.

Although Laurie's prime purpose was to give members an overview of the features of the newsletter, he opened his presentation by giving members the opportunity to provide both positive feedback and constructive criticism about the new web-site.

Laurie demonstrated how easy it is to add and edit notices, advertisements and articles on the website and how to import photos into an article. He encouraged members to become familiar with using the newsletter as a communciation tool for the club.

The fact that members can update details in real time is a real advantage to facilitate communication between members, friends and the public and having a dynamic website puts us at the forefront in terms of web communication in Rotary.
