Melanie honoured by her village in Kenya

Melanie Peyian, the RCWE sponsored student, was recently honoured by her village in Kenya. Melanie is the first person in Kimuka to graduate from university and become a doctor. Melanie expressed her gratitude to RCWE for making this possible and is determined to help her village in the future.

RCWE and the open day at the Leederville Bowlo

President Marcus Harris funded a meat tray for the monthly raffle at the Leederville Sporting Club last Sunday. While selling tickets to members and guests, he and Past President Peter Batskos extolled the virtues of Rotary to LSC members. Approximately 300 attended the event. PP Peter presented the prize on behalf of the RCWE and is eager to hear from potential new members.

The Changeover Dinner was held at the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club.

Members enjoyed a fine dining experience in a beautiful setting.

Past President Curt McDonald presented a review of his term and incoming President Marcus Harris offered a view of the coming year based upon the RI principal "Create Hope in the World".
